I have E-Bay Auctions up. Go and see. Last day for this round!

I am feeling sluggish and not very motivated. Here is what I need to do:

1. I several orders for Blue Dog and even a Guadalupe shrine and I need to get started on them.

2. Call my dad.

3. Actually PLAN menus and go shopping for stuff.

4. Buy more Claritin. I have tried one week off, and may have to face the fact that I am Claritin-dependant.

5. Check into the fate of one of my students, who went to summer school and still failed Math. He simply CANNOT do 7th grade again.

6. Write in my paper journal. I cannot seem to make that an every day thing.

Okay, enough of beating myself up. Let's see.... Oh, my husband is back from Boy Scout camp, and made it back in one piece. That is good.

I am trying to get back on some sort of normal sheep schedule. I am definitely an night owl, but this week, I went over to a friend's house to turn her on to the movie Strictly Ballroom. I was maybe going to spend the night, but two things got in the way: the dog (not allowed in the house, and much too hot for her to sleep outside), and my mother (I agreed to pick her up at the Honda dealership and drop her back home the next morning at 8AM).

AFTER I got home at 1:45 AM, having been kept company by a spendid book on tape by Maeve Binchy called Scarlet Feather, I was awakened at 7:50 by my mother. The whole retrieval and drop off took 2 and 1/2 hours (I am the BEST daughter ever!) When I got home, I went right back to bed.

Then, that same Friday afternoon, in a Desperate Housewives sort of mood, I set out to Discover Mills, the Mall, and went shopping with non-existent money. I discovered Ross, which is really no different from Marshalls, and TJMaxx, but fun! I bought a birthday gift for my sister-in-law, and a few things for me.

After that, I went to Chili's and had two margaritas, chips and salsa, and a fajita quesadilla. NO, none of that was counted as Weight Watchers points. I then, walked around the mall for a while longer, digesting. I pondered going to see a movie, then couldn't decide. I found out later that Wedding Crashers is actually getting good reviews. Maybe some other time!

I ended up going home and watching two episodes of The Sopranos, Season 3.

Sooooo, long story short, I cancelled my personal training session scheduled for the following morning at 10:00 AM. Ay yay yay!

Let's see... any more loose ends? Oh, I am still an ESOL teacher - see two entries back for details. As I figured, my principal offered the French teaching position to a part-timer who had taken the French teacher's place in the past as a long-term substitute.

That's okay, but it means that I am still going to have to pursue the last two classes of that Reading Specialist Certification. Unless I can commit to taking the Language Arts Praxis, and passing....

I think that I am going to go and have sushi and write in my journal now.
